01The problem
Staying current in Zimbabwe means juggling news sites, job boards, rate trackers and radio apps — each heavy on data and ads. People needed one light place for the essentials.
The things people check every day are scattered across a dozen sites and apps. iNasi puts them on one fast page: the headlines, the rates, the prices, the jobs and the radio.
02What I built
- 01A news feed with concise, categorised summaries of Zimbabwean and African stories.
- 02Live USD/ZWG, ZAR and BWP exchange rates and energy prices, updated through the day.
- 03A job board and live streams of national radio stations — Radio Zimbabwe, National FM, Power FM, Star FM and more.
- 04Search-first metadata — structured Open Graph, geo tags and canonical URLs — so the portal is found where people actually look.
